By partnering with the Epilepsy Foundation Northwest, we want to raise awareness and overcome the barriers associated with epilepsy. By hosting our event we strive to increase the research in the greater Palouse area.

Northwest Epilepsy Foundation Mission

The Epilepsy Foundation Northwest leads the fight to stop seizures, find a cure and overcome challenges created by epilepsy. 

Event Information

The Washington State University Sport Management program hosted a charity bowling tournament on November 9th, 2013. The tournament was held at the local Zeppoz Bowling Alley. With your help, our goal was to help fight Epilepsy and raise money to research a cure for Epilepsy. 

The tournament was an opportunity for people to come enjoy bowling, music, and friendly competition. Teams of three competed in a tournament to record there highest combined scores over the duration of three games. To participate, each team donated $45, which included shoe rentals, three games, and open bowling before the tournament begins. 

During the event we held a silent auction featuring items from our donators Holiday Inn Express, Cougar Country, Blades and Fades, Village Centre Cinemas, and the WSU Athletics. All proceeds from the tournament and silent auction benefit the Northwest Epilepsy Foundation. Thank you to all the participants who came to help us Knock Down Epilepsy and raise nearly $700!
